Hooped It

Hey Everyone! I made this cute little wall hanging today. The embroidery design is free at Urban Threads. Trying to spruce up my craft room:)

Once the fabric is super tight, cut the excess off around the back.

Mission Impossible: Epic Fail

So it's 17 days later and..... I just finished sewing the front bodice together.
Life has a funny way of getting me off track, in the worst way. Any who, I like the way its shaping up though.

Raw edges basted together.

Inside lining.

Crazy pattern.

Mission Impossible: Birthday Dress

Hello Night Owls! I just took on a crazy project with a short dateline. I volunteered to make a birthday dress by Monday. So after work, I drove straight home and started cutting out the pattern. Got the fabric in the washer ready to press in the morning.
Wish me luck, lol.

Cut pieces just need to be pressed.

Look my desk is so clean!

I'm Not Gone!

Hello Everybody! It's been so long since my last post! We moved and I'm so blessed to have an extra room to set up all of my craft goodies. It's taking a little bit of time to get everything set up and organized. I've been taking pictures of the room and new projects in the works. So stay tuned for exciting new stuff!

It's still a mess but I'm getting there.

Messy desk lol

Tinted Jars

Hello! I know it been a long time since my last post, sorry about that. This craft project is every where! Most are using brand name jars but I wouldn't pay for a real canning jars, just to put colored glue inside. So I recycled my jam and condiment jars for this project. Personally, I think more goods should be put in glass vessels.

Broken Free Motion

What a bummer! I finally figure out how to use the free motion presser foot and it breaks :( I was really looking forward to practicing with this new gadget.

Sad face!
This is the video I watched to get started with free motion sewing.

Feeling out Felt

I originally bought this felt to make coasters. I never got around to that lol. Now I'm going to make little flower embellishments for my next apron.

Templets

What a pain to cut out lol
  Stay tuned for new apron!

ScrapHooked

I'm not much of a scrap-booker. I collect scraps of special stuff and put it in a draw, box or even a ziplock bag. Sitting down and planning out a page with pretty (and surely expensive) paper, stickers and fancy tools sounds like too much pressure for me!
In this case, my mind is changed forever.
